The Install Technician is responsible for correctly and efficiently installing and maintaining the Intoxalock interlock device in customer vehicles. This includes installations, recalibrations, removals, and more. Should there be issues involved in an installation or wiring of the Intoxalock equipment, the Technician will be responsible for diagnosing the issue and providing a solution. Technicians are also required to provide activation instructions and training to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Installation, calibration, repair and removal of breath alcohol ignition interlock devices in accordance to state program rules.

2.Provide technical support to customers.

3.Facilitate on-site training of customers with the activation and operation of an ignition interlock device.

4.Install Intoxalock interlock devices into customer vehicles.

5.Troubleshoot/diagnose reports of malfunctioning devices.

6.Report any suspicion of equipment tampering or attempt to bypass.

7.Follow all Intoxalocks-specified procedures, which include but are not limited to, the requirement of connected all state-specified components.

8.All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1.High School Diploma or GED is preferred

2.2+ years of hands-on experience with 12-volt, reading schematics, and troubleshooting installations.

3.Installation and servicing stereo, alarm, remote start or similar systems are preferred.

4.High quality installation experience, intermediate knowledge of automotive wiring

5.Experience with problem solving and resolving conflict.

7.Ability to travel between service centers.
