Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

Responsibilities & Qualifications


  • Inspect parts for overall general condition, identification and craftsmanship to determine acceptability or non-acceptability of parts

  • Report occurrences of defective parts to supervisor/lead.

  • Perform measurements for special projects/requests as needed

  • Support First Article Inspection process

  • Demonstrate proficiency on equipment used in specific department

  • Work under direct and general supervision, normally receives general instructions on new work and no instruction on routine work to be completed

  • Apply full skills and develop advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment

  • Ensure all TE Connectivity policies and procedures are followed

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area


  • High School diploma or GED required

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an inspector in Manufacturing Environment

  • Strong inspection skills including use of gages, calipers, micrometers, height and depth gauges.required

  • CMM or Vision System experience desired

  • GD&T

  • Basic computer skills

  • Basic math skills

  • Due to ITAR restrictions, US citizenship or US lawful permanent residency status is required to apply for this position

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to lift 20lbs on occasion

  • Visual acuity to inspect small defects, operate machines, use measuring devices, and complete assembly/fabric
