Metals USA is hiring an Inspector in Tulsa, OK. The purpose of an Inspector position completes inspection, packaging, kitting, and verification of materials and components for customer orders. The position will ensure company quality and code procedures are followed.

Hourly Rate: $18 + DOE

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interprets and evaluates compliance to ASTM, ASME and AWS standards (Including flatness and size) when performing first article, in-process, and final inspections

• Packages, assembles kits, and labels product to customer specifications

• Reads and interprets job travelers and customer drawings

• Uses and maintains specific tools and equipment required for inspection process

• Identifies nonconforming materials and generates nonconformance reports

• Performs quality compliance inspections on all finished products prior to loading and delivery

• Analyzes reports, data, product specifications to determine compliance with standards

• Reviews scrap and rework for appropriate resolution

• Ensures product has proper tagging, coding, and tracking specifications

• Maintains quality production records

• Performs other related duties as assigned
