What you will do

Test and inspect fire alarm systems with existingand new customer base.

  • Maintain proper documentation for workperformed using tools provided

  • Must adhere to company safety policies andprocedures

  • Follow verbal and written instructions

  • Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to70lbs

  • Perform work in unusual and sometimesdifficult positions; such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high liftequipment

  • Must be able to work alternative shifts orweekends to meet customer needs

  • Must perform all duties in a safe andprofessional manner & maintain a clean and safe work area

What we look for


  • Installation or Service Experience in testingand inspecting Fire Alarm Equipment.

  • Self-starter that can work with little or nosupervision

  • Strong organizational skills, positiveattitude, and the ability to learn quickly

  • Capable of performing physical labor

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Valid Driver's License with good drivingrecord

  • Ability to work well with others

  • Obtain NICET I within 1 year of employment

  • Basic computer skills Microsoft (Excel,Word, Outlook) along with SmartPhone skills

VIEW JOBS 9/15/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-12-14T00:00 Position Overview: To ensure parts/order fulfillment for a specific order are consistent with customer requirements before they are sent to shipping. Specific duties include: * Conduct X,Y,Z measurements * Conduct visual cosmetic inspection * Conduct part count verification * Inspect completed order for packaging accuracy * Inspect completed orders for fulfillment accuracy * Enter process information into computer * Identify quality issues relating to manufacturing processes and order fulfillment * Interface with shift supervisor and/ or quality control staff regarding order quantities and part quality * Coordinate corrective action as necessary with department supervisor and co-workers * Determine if an order is shippable * Transport finished parts to shipping area * Communicate with the CQRs as needed * Provide feedback to team leads / Supervisors, any necessary training needs to the Production floor * Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department * Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization * Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance * Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures * Perform additional tasks as assigned Minimum Qualifications: * Strong attention to detail is required. * Able to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from supervisors or technical leads. * Good written and oral communication skills. * Able to use measuring instruments such as scales, calipers, * Able to work safely with sharp tools/objects, such as but not limited to, hobby knives, utility knives, diagonal-cutting pliers * Able to use a computer and calculator. * Able to read and write in English, and do basic arithmetic. * Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment. * Must be punctual and have good attendance. Physical Job Requirements: * Stand and/or sit for the entire shift. * Lift up to 70 pounds waist high, carry up to 70 pounds alone. * Essential job duties require reaching, bending, and grasping; good finger dexterity, ability to do close work and good vision.
