This role is crucial to maintaining the safety, efficiency and integrity of our engineering projects.
The Inspector will conduct regular inspections, assessments, and monitoring of our various projects, ensuring all operations meet the required safety and quality standards. This position will require the application of expertise in geotechnical engineering, welding inspection, and concrete inspection. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment and will be committed to excellence in every aspect of their work.
Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections of ongoing projects, ensuring all aspects meet the required safety and quality standards. Apply expertise in geotechnical engineering to evaluate soil, rock, groundwater, and other earth materials prior to construction. Perform certified welding inspections, ensuring all welding works meet the required specifications and safety standards.
Carry out concrete inspections, ensuring the quality of concrete used in construction projects. Generate detailed reports on all inspections carried out, highlighting any issues found and providing recommendations for improvements. Collaborate with other team members, sharing your expertise to ensure the overall success of projects.
Stay updated with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Provide technical advice on the prevention of geotechnical failures and other construction related issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the engineering industry. ACI Certification (Concrete), Reinforced Concrete. Welding inspection Proven experience in geotechnical engineering, welding inspection, and concrete inspection.
Excellent knowledge of the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to generate detailed inspection reports.
Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with other professionals. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot potential issues and provide effective solutions. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
