Pay
This position is an hourly position at pay grade 113.
Attendance
Non-rotating 40-hour work week, Monday
Friday, 8:00 am
5:00 pm; must be available to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities
Perform field inspections of plumbing and mechanical components and ensure construction location conforms to adopted Codes and Ordinances
Maintain records on all inspections performed and perform data collection and data entry relating to inspections
Coordinate with design professional, developers, contractors, and homeowners regarding building inspection activity
Maintains records on all inspections performed and performs data collection and data entry relating to inspections
Operate a mobile laptop computer
Operate City vehicle from project site to project site
May be asked to perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requires a High School Diploma/GED
Minimum of six (6) years of experience
State of Texas Plumbing Inspector license required to be obtained within twelve (12) months of employment
A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.
