Multidiscipline national engineering firm is looking to add a Construction Inspector to support WSDOT and Sound Transit projects. Candidate will need 3-5 years of experience supporting large construction projects as an inspector. Candidate will need to have at least one of the following certifications: ICC, ACI, Nuclear Gauge, WABO, WAQTC, and/or CWI.
Candidate will be responsible for:
Performing daily observation of contractor activities and complete Inspectors Daily Reports.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local agency construction administration policies.
Foster a safety culture on the project site.
Inspect, monitor, and oversee construction field work tasks and activities on a project to ensure conformance to plans and specifications.
Read, interpret, and confirm compliance with applicable contract documents.
Perform or oversee on-site material testing.
Review plans and specifications to determine material requirements.

Comfortable navigating construction terrain
