Inspector 1 - 2nd Shift

We are looking for an Inspector for our Brunswick, OH facility. In this role you will receive and enter customer order information into computer system, inspect and rack customer products. You will work with a variety of customers to understand their ongoing product needs and translate those needs into workable specifications for teammates to follow. In performing the daily tasks, the individual will draw upon training and experience to make important front-end and back-end processing decisions. As part of the primary responsibilities, this individual will also ensure that once the customers' products have been processed they are inspected for quality, re-packaged, and shipped accurately.

Your Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers and co-workers in a 'customer-friendly' manner.

• Receive and inspect customer product for processing.

• Establish the product process sequence

• Enter orders into computer system, quickly and accurately

• Rack tools in preparation for the cleaning system

• Load cleaning system with racked tools

• Unload cleaning sysstem

• Inspect the finished product.

• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

• Learn new skills and cross-train into various departments.

• Act as a member of the monthly 'Quality Council'.

• Visual inspection of tools for proper coating.

• Learn defixturing techniques.

• Post quantities being shipped into the computer system.

• Pack customer parts for shipping.

• Use XRF equipment to document coating thickness.

• Use various shipping software.

• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribes safety regulations.

• Must conform to current health, environmental, and safety standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.

Your Profile:

• Commits to corporate core values, goals, mission and vision.

• High School graduate or GED or equivalent experience.

• Must be proficient in ordering supplies via the internet.

• Experience with MS Office.

• Knowledge of industrial cutting tools (e.g. drills, etc.) preferred but not required.

• Indivdiual must have strong work ethic, be high-energy, and detail oriented.

• Must be able to lift 30lbs.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• A positive attitude and willingness to work overtime when required.

• Any other production related activities.
