Kelly Engineering is looking for a Inside Technical Sales Representative for a position in the Charlotte, NC area. The right person will have at least a 2 year college degree and some experience in sales/marketing.
Inside part sales experience
Pricing, quotes, and associated documentation.
Customer service experience on the phone, computer, and face to face. Requires strong PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
Familiarity with basic accounting and experience with MS Dynamics CRM software is beneficial. Must be proficient in written and verbal communications.
Punctuality, good time management, decision making and problem solving skills are necessary. Flexibility and strong work ethic required.
Assist in handling incoming inquiries from customer.
Write proposals with sales or engineering input and issue customer quotes.
Follow-up on quotes and maintain accurate quote files and historical data.
Contact potential customers listed in our customer database and generate leads and/ or sales of replacement components.
The sales person must become familiar with products and be able to discuss such products somewhat technically with internal personnel and eventually end users.
CRM software administrator responsible for overseeing the customer/opportunities tracking database & reporting needs.
Forecasting order intake by keeping CRM reports for opportunities and quotes up to date.
Responsibilities include assisting with website related issues and literature as needed.
Provide support for trade shows and other marketing functions as requested by Business Managers.
Generate responses on trade show leads.
