Schaeffer is a large manufacturer of steel pipe and tube and roll-formed profiles in the Western United States. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support and achieving revenue growth objectives. The Inside Sales Representative must be comfortable making cold calls, working with the outside sales team, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails to drive leads through the sales pipeline.
Identify and close additional purchases of products and services by customers.
Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
Plan and prioritize sales calls to inform customers of future orders and products.
Monitor and report market and competitor activities.
Create, update, and maintain price matrices for our clients according to agreed contract.
Maintain and develop existing and new customers.
Create, maintain, and distribute customer order status reports.
Support outside sales (quoting, scheduling appointments, etc.).
Organize and maintain both electronic and manual files.
Handle customer service work with both clients and employees.
Other tasks as assigned.
A minimum of 1 years in sales (Steel Industry Preferred but not required)
A solid track record of achieving objectives and goals.
A strong phone presence and experience in cold calling.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Knowledge of Internet and MS Office tools;
Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral.
