Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for an Inside Service Sales at our location in Baltimore, MD.
Summary
Reports to the Regional Operations Manager. This position is focused on generating service estimates from deficiencies found during a PM inspections or repairs and increasing the number of these additional services sold to the customer base. Other functions of this role include but are not limited to scheduling support, advanced component/service sourcing, growing customer and vendor relationships. Other duties may be assigned. The Inside Service Sales position must support and comply with all policies and procedures established at the corporate or branch level. These policies and procedures include both written and understood.
Professional Communication
Communicate with appropriate CPS personnel in the assessment of any customer agreement/contract terms.
All estimates and agreements must meet minimum profit expectations established by CPS. Deviation from minimum profit expectations must be preapproved prior to contract presentation and execution.
Communicate with appropriate CPS personnel on additional service estimates sold and discuss the details to meet all the requirements and obligations.
All customer interaction must be professional and courteous. Customer issues or complaints that cannot be addressed in this fashion should be forwarded to the Service Manager for resolution.
Promptly respond to customer requests for estimates and provide follow up communication on all estimates to properly track award status.
Become a trusted technical resource for customers and adapt to an ever-changing industry.
Administrative Processing
Thoroughly analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to fully comprehend the technical requirements and scope of work being estimated.
Develop estimates in accordance with scope of supply by conducting comprehensive cost estimation for labor, parts, materials, equipment, sublets, and recoveries.
This position will play a key role in the sales process with a willingness to adapt with a dynamic sales team and aid with workload support as necessary.
Assemble supporting documentation to present to CSR when an estimate has been sold/awarded.

Review preventive maintenance reports for corrective/follow up actions to promote additional service sales opportunities.
Productivity, Efficiency, and Experience
Ability to perform tasks in a timely fashion to maintain desired level of efficiency.
Ability to generate estimates timely with customer delivery within 48 hours of customer request or deficiencies documented on a PM service report.
Recognize when to solicit assistance and bring in subject matter experts.
Recommend having a technical background in the Power Generation Industry or a basic understanding of Engines, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Recommend experience in customer communication on a sales or technical level.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite operating systems.
This position will require occasional driving.
