Role Summary:

This role will be responsible for selling & supporting Ultrasound probe disinfection solutions including trophon, TD-100, and related accessories/consumables to customers. It will require collaborative selling with Ultrasound PSS & other members of the Probe HLD team. Specialized knowledge around high level disinfection and infection control will be necessary to execute the job and this role will be a go to technical expert on the products

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work cohesively with U/S PSS, Probe HLD team & USCAN account community to build business plans for strategic accounts & groups to drive achievement of business targets

  • Driving demand generation through prospecting, marketing programs and cold calling activities to existing customers and new prospects at hospital, clinics, & physician offices.

  • For designated zone, maintain opportunity funnel and knowledge of each account's history, contacts and current purchase plans. Lead the forecast call for zone for Probe HLD products in conjunction with Region Sales Leader partners. Track outcomes & opportunities through Salesforce.com & Reveal applications.

  • Acting as Secondary salesperson for sales opportunities by working directly with prospective customers and the PSS/RSL to build value for our offerings, present proposals, negotiate and secure the order, working through both GE's internal sales and the external customers purchase processes.

  • Providing technical and clinical leadership during sales process by demonstrating full range of product features including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers as needed

  • Up-selling to multi-unit sales and leveraging business from Installed Base as part of Expansion Strategy.

  • Maintaining satisfactory after-sale support relationships and ensure appropriate purchases of follow on consumables

  • Penetrating competitive accounts and communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements

  • Developing long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs.

  • Supporting promotional activities such as exhibitions, seminars, product demonstrations, training/ education, and various customer visits as necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Associates Degree and at least one of the following core experiences: 3+ years of successful over the phone business to business sales experience requiring closure of sale over the phone; 3+ years of experience in customer facing role(s), or 3+ years in progressively larger formal leadership roles working in a complex environment

  • A proven track record of collaborative sales, driving and closing enterprise deals, including customer presentations, price quoting, product demonstration, negotiation, closing and growing a sales territory

  • Willingness to travel with overnight stays within your specified geographic region as well as to national sales meetings and tradeshows depending business need.

  • Basic proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products

Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge and understanding of the infection control industry and/or ultrasound probe technology as well as strong technical aptitude.

  • Previous Infection Prevention or Probe Technology experience, selling to managed care/hospital organizations

  • Passion and commitment for customer success

  • Proven consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to analyze customer data and articulate a clear, concise ROI.

  • Strong time management skills, with demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team

  • Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels of an organization

  • Proven executive (CXO) relationship building skills in a hospital/healthcare environment, ability to sell C-level and across both Infection Prevention and clinical departments.

  • Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based sales process

  • Knowledge of healthcare & Infection Prevention industry trends and market place
