The KES Equipment Technology & Services (ET&S) Replacement Group is seeking an Inside Sales Supervisor to lead a team of Inside Sales Representatives for our products and solutions for the Koch-Glitsch brands. This role will be based in Wichita, Kansas and will be responsible for leading and coordinating the team of Inside Sales Representatives who work with Schedulers, Design Engineers and Project Managers to ensure timely completion of quotes to provide excellent support for our customers.

This leadership role will require a results-oriented candidate with a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, economic and critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Preferably with demonstrated performance in a leadership role developing strong employee capabilities which have led to profitable growth of a business. The Inside Sale Supervisor will be expected to apply Koch's philosophies and principles (Principle Based Management) as a part of developing their team. The successful candidate will be expected to cultivate a team culture of accountability, creativity, innovation, collaboration, economic thinking and to develop mutually beneficial relationships with our customers.

Our Team

This position will lead 4-5 Inside Sales Representatives that sell both Separations and Mass Transfer solutions. The Wichita office team plays a crucial role in generating a significant portion of our Americas Replacement Sales Team's annual revenue.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and develop a customer focused team of Inside Sales Representatives that exhibit entrepreneurial, economic thinking and problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency to bring value-based outcomes to customers.

  • Continuously improve the team's talent position - envision what could be and takes action to enable progress.

  • Work collaboratively across the business management teams (i.e., product line managers, engineering, project management, supply chain, etc.) to achieve business goals.

  • Ensure effective sales processes are in place for optimum performance and success of the organization.

  • Implement targeted price policies and utilize principled entrepreneurship to maximize profitability.

  • Ensure effective prospecting, up/cross selling, pipeline development and analysis.

  • Understand and apply Principle Based Management principles.

  • Motivate, train, coach, and develop the team and inspire and foster a high-performing sales culture.

  • Travel as required (less than 20% of the time)

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Proven ability to achieve business results and demonstrated growth within area of responsibility.

  • Experience developing and owning customer relationships.

  • Experience evaluating the performance of business activities through data analysis and implementing successful improvement initiatives.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Leading teams and developing talent to achieve strategic business goals and objectives.

  • Inside Sales Experience

  • Background in engineering and technical sales to the refining, petrochemical, chemical or midstream industries.

  • Experience utilizing Salesforce.com or other similar CRM tools to analyze the pipeline and bookings.

  • Experience selling on value and securing customer's buy decisions.

  • Experience with mass transfer / distillation equipment design and operations.

  • A deep understanding of business operations, finances, sales and marketing tactics and market conditions.
