Job Description:
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will generate new business opportunities through a combination of outbound calling and emailing, and following up on marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries. The ISR is critical to the success of the sales organization and is assigned a quota within a defined territory, working with one or more AEs to ensure business-wide success. Your responsibilities would include managing your prospecting strategy, engaging prospective customers, and providing first-hand feedback and recommendations on marketing efforts based on experiences with customers and prospects and assisting with the growth of our sales pipeline through lead generation and inside sales activities.

Responsibilities:
Generate new business opportunities through daily outbound calling and emailing, and following up on marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries
Achieve results on the goals provided
Sales rep with a background in hunter-type new lead generation and business development
Know the features of our products inside and out, stay on top of K-12 industry trends, and competition
Work in a POD model alongside a Field AE with a shared territory quota and also an individual quota
Develop a prospecting strategy (target lists, call strategies, and call script)
Follow-up on opportunities generated through marketing programs.
Educate prospective customers on our products highlighting our differentiators, effectively demo the products over video conference, and guide prospective customers through POC (proof of concept)
Practice strong organizational skills; must be able to juggle multiple projects and manage pipeline
Demonstrate a strong track record of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management

Minimum Qualifications:
2 years of experience in sales development, or telemarketing
Bachelors Degree or equivalent practical experience
Strong cold calling skills you cannot shy away from picking up the phone
Creative and assertive with a proactive mentality and can work well in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
Motivated by goal attainment and performance measurement
A basic understanding of the sales function and an interest in a sales career
Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
Team player with a customer-focused attitude

Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of inside or field sales experience in SaaS/PaaS cloud based environment
Ed-Tech sales and K-12 Sales experience are a plus but not required
Experience selling transactions of $5K to $100K in Software/hardware or other products over the phone and/or video
Experience selling in a startup environment
Proficiency using technical tools like Salesforce to canvas accounts
Skilled at initiating phone discussions and overcoming objections
Strong problem solving skills
Motivated by goals/targets
