Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day customer sales requests and provide superb customer service to our walk and call in customers

  • Email customer quotations, sales specials / promotions, etc and process orders

  • Provide guidance to our customers on product requirements / applications

  • Proactively make contact and build relationships with assigned customers and prospects while growing existing and new customer accounts

  • Perform product research with manufacturers to support customer requests

  • Maintain a current customer / prospect database

  • Take ownership of advertising Tri-Ed events, product displays, and merchandising of products

  • Assist with merchandising and product displays and ensure our sales floor is stocked and presentable at all times

  • Gain a strong understanding of our industry, our products, market trends and technology

  • Travel to local customers or company/ vendor events as needed

Attributes of successful Inside Sales Associates are:

  • Ideally 5 years of experience in a similar sales role

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Positive, assertive person comfortable with building customer relationships

  • Prior experience with intrusion, fire, IP or networking is preferred

  • Strong computer literacy within the Microsoft Office suite

  • Highly organized, motivated and able to maintain professionalism at all times

  • Aptitude to familiarize yourself with industry knowledge/technology

Position Summary: The Account Representative assists the Account Manager, Account Executives, Producers, Brokers in servicing designated group of clients or book of business as it relates to marketing, claims, administration, and sales. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Typically assigned to accounts having less complex needs with no renewal goals associated with assigned accounts. * Under direction of more senior staff, provides administrative support to an assigned group of clients. * Resolves customer service inquiries that require research and interactions with carriers or agents. * Generally requires assistance when resolving more complex problems. * Day-to-day client contacts are generally mid- or lower-level client staff and contact with clients. * Responds to client questions and maintains a log of conversations. * Markets new and renewal accounts according to company procedures. * Evaluates all proposals to include in spreadsheets. * Prepares renewals and client information presentations and assists in preparing RFP responses. * May provide guidance and direction to Customer Service Reps or administrative support. Additional Considerations: * Responsible for prospecting new business for Gallagher Affinity programs, through outbound telesales calls. * Provides exceptional customer service to association members and customers, including assistance in resolution of customer issues. Required: * High School Diploma/GED and 1 or more years of related experience. Desired: * Appropriate license. Work Traits: * Understanding of the insurance brokerage business and customer service processes/tasks.
