Westland Distributing is a 50-year-old wholesale distributor of niche building materials, offering a

wide variety of products servicing three distinct industries: aftermarket RV, manufactured housing, and aluminum shade structure materials. With 7 locations and over 160 employees, Westland Distributing is an industry market leader in the western United States.

 We are currently hiring for a full-time counter sales representative at our Denver Colorado location. This position will consist of assisting customers at the sales counter and over the phone with their building material needs. Excellent customer service skills, proper phone etiquette, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail are required for this position.

General Job Duties / Responsibilities

·         Manage sales inquiries for customers in person at the parts counter, over the phone and via email

·         Build and maintain strong customer relationships with a focus on customer retention

·         Probe customers for opportunities to increase sales and/or satisfaction at every interaction

·         Continually develop product knowledge in order to effectively support our customers and sell our full line of products

·         Create quotes and sales orders for customers using Sage 100

·         Manage and resolve customer questions and issues related to quotes, orders and deliveries

·         Complete special projects as needed

Requirements

·         3+ years of experience in a full-time sales role; parts counter sales experience a plus

·         Construction / building materials / manufactured housing experience a plus

·         Outgoing relationship builder who quickly and easily connects with people

·         Strong phone and personal communication skills

·         Multi tasking abilities and strong attention to detail

·         Strong and organized sales skills

·         High degree of self motivation

·          Computer literate

·         Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred, but not required

·         Knowledge of plumbing, electrical helpful
