What Youll Do:

Job Summary

As a Stax by Fattmerchant Payment Consultant, you are a critical part in fulfilling our mission to help business owners make smarter business decisions through our world-class platform, award-winning customer service, and transparent easy-to-understand pricing.

As a Payment Consultant, you are the first point of contact that every customer will engage with, and serve as experts in this industry. PCs will have a keen understanding of:

  1. Sales Strategies and Concepts in a high velocity sales environment
  2. The Stax by Fattmerchant solution and offerings...
  3. Sales Enablement Tools including CRM Platforms

Your responsibilities as a PC will include, but not be limited to, understanding general operations around the customers industry, how theyre currently processing, prescribing solutions based on Stax by Fattmerchants offerings, all while efficiently and effectively navigating through the sales process.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

  • Educate, consult, and navigate customers (merchants) towards the appropriate Stax by Fattmerchant solutions, product offerings, and plans
  • Respond immediately to inbound leads and inquiries regarding Stax by Fattmerchant
  • Properly maintain follow up tasks and stay on top of all your active contacts and opportunities
  • Effectively navigate through the sales cycle from the initial discovery to close
  • Ability to source opportunities from outbound resources; have a hunter mentality
  • Keep up with industry trends, competitive landscape and specific verticals that can benefit from Stax by Fattmerchants solution
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team and Operations team to ensure that the customer journey is positive and flawless
  • Effective organizational skills for end to end sales processes including Sales Enablement tools- i.e. CRM
  • Be a brand ambassador in the community through event presence
  • Perform other Duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2- 3 years of high velocity sales experience
  • Collaborative attitude with a focus on We and not on Me
  • Innate curiosity. Desire to learn and be coached on the industry, our products and core sales competencies
  • Highly empathetic. Be a champion of both Stax by Fattmerchant and the Business Owner
  • Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills.
  • Strong Interdepartmental Relationships. Ability to collaborate within the Sales department as well as the Operations, Marketing and support teams
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment with aggressive company and individual growth goals
  • Proficiency in sales enablement toos, i.e. CRM
  • Effective use of Google Apps (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
  • Solution-oriented with the ability to think strategically and creatively in decision-making
  • Experience/Desire to contribute to the broader goals of the organization beyond your immediate job description
