The Schneider organization has an immediate need for a passionate and driven Inside Sales Representative to manage a book of business to include solicitation, spot pricing, up-selling and establishing pricing for long term freight. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for accurate load creation for active and new accounts, billing accuracy and accounts receivables, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with a diverse group of customers and various internal associates. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Understand the daily operational needs in order to develop a plan to meet and exceed daily goals and objectives.

  • Manage customer interactions and information to ensure continuous and effective business relationships and increase business with customers over time.

  • Drive volume, revenue and sales to meet personal targets and team goals through solicitation, accurate weekly forecasts, and closing on business.

  • Prepare quotes, proposals and services requirements to meet the customer's request.

Our preferred candidate will have:

  • Bachelor degree preferred or 1-2 years previous experience in transportation or sales

  • Passionate, energetic self-starter with a sincere willingness to learn, close business and make money

  • Self starter, willingness to put the time into the role

  • Driven, enthusiastic and highly motivated

  • Great phone presence and communication skills

  • Strong ability to persuade, motivate, negotiate, and influence others

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite program and internet
