Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the customer with processing purchase orders, service orders, repair orders, quotations, correspondence, and general product requests. The Inside Sales Rep. will also work with and support our Regional Sales Engineers to develop sales opportunities for new installations and aftermarket orders as well as coordinate with all parties to develop solutions and answer outstanding questions. Special projects may be assigned on occasion as part of this position.

The position requires strong communication skills (verbal & written), technical aptitude to review, interpret, and understand technical drawings and jargon is preferred. In addition this position requires time management skills to manage multiple simultaneous activities, with some being time sensitive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate purchase order flow from start to completion(including traffic routing and tracing).

  • Handle price and delivery requests from customers, both internal and external.

  • Prepare quotations and follow-up as required

  • Perform simple troubleshooting and technical support related to areas of responsibility. Coordinate involvement of Engineering and Service as required.

  • Assist Regional Sales Engineers to identify new business opportunities. Provide guidance or support to Regional Sales Engineers as needed with customer conversations.

  • Maintain appropriate paperwork and documentation regarding customer service activities.

  • Review and advise on inventory levels to support sales

  • Ensure company and client confidentiality. Adhere to company compliance requirements.

  • Assist logistics operations in shipping/receiving, if necessary.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND INTELLECTUAL DEMANDS

  • The Inside Sales Representative will travel occasionally (<10%) to customer locations, other Bosch locations and trade fairs. In addition, this incumbent must demonstrate the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in communicating effectively with customers, executives, as well as Hägglunds & Rexroth colleagues.

  • Willingness to comply with customer safety training rules, and wear required personal protection equipment (PPE) during customer site visits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred or Associate's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Technical field and 3 years work experience or HS Diploma and 5+ years of work experience with industrial products in lieu of degree acceptable.

  • ERP experience eg: SAP, Oracle, Microsoft AX) required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and organizational skills.

  • Time management skills to handle a consistently high volume of sales/quote activities, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and bill of materials preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
