Overview
Customer Service duties encompassing complete account management. Travel will be required to see customers along with participating in various industry events.
Responsibilities
§ Handle all customer service functions including answering phone calls and e-mails in a timely manner, entering orders accurately and proactively, following orders from entry through shipment.
§ Assist customers with their daily needs including product availability, price quotes timely and accurately.
§ Communicate daily with all outside sales representatives and work directly with all mill departments effectively and professionally.
§ Need to be able to handle strong personalities and difficult customers with professionalism.
§ This person will need to grasp many concepts including freight equalization, various pricing scenarios, and claim and credit administration
Qualifications
§ Excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask, handle high volumes under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
§ Strong computer skills
§ Organizational skills and accuracy a MUST.
§ Must be able to work in a team environment and willing to help teammates daily.
§ Occasional travel is required.
PREFERRED: Customer Service or relevant experience, 4-Year Degree and Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
