We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team of professionals in Portland, Maine.

Key Responsibilities

As a critical and meaningful role within the Richelieu organization, the Inside Sales Representative is primarily responsible for providing customer service support to the company by obtaining, analyzing, and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. This position is also responsible for ensuring that excellent standards of service and high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained.

  • Answer phone calls from customers placing orders as well as provide sales quotes

  • Work closely alongside outside sales representatives with customer orders and quotes

  • Assist walk-in customers in the showroom with questions and order placement

  • Solicit new or complimentary sales for customers via phone as well as face-to-face in the showroom

  • Research product solutions for customers to solve field-project issues

  • Restock the showroom and perform cycle counts as required

  • Help out in the warehouse as needed

What We Are Looking For

  • Related experience in a similar position

  • Building Materials industry experience a plus

  • Developed customer service, problem-solving, and project management skills

  • Team-oriented, shows initiative

  • Strong sense of drive and creativity

  • Proficient with Word and Excel

  • AS400 experience preferred but not mandatory

  • High School graduate, some college courses preferred

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

The ISR position promotes the company products to customers via telephone or electronic inquiries and from time to time, in person at events and tradeshows. This position will have outbound call and lead qualification responsibilities as it relates to demand generation program response with the goal of building a sales pipeline of opportunities.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>This is a hunter role, offering uncapped earning potential as well as professional development.
