ProAmpac Inside Sales Representatives will be responsible to support existing customers, cultivate new opportunities, and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin while ensuring customer satisfaction. Inside Sales Representatives must excel at making great first impressions, building and growing strong relationships, and enjoy finding and closing new opportunities - accomplished primarily over the phone.

Support customers by providing information highlighting our product offering for new business opportunities
Proactively identifies and executes revenue enhancing strategic partnerships within designated market segment(s). Manages, renews and up-sells existing clients (30 to 50+ accounts). Keeps other team members informed of customer issues (complaints, late orders, pricing changes, etc.).
Prepares monthly and annual budgets and forecasts by customer and enters the information into company software. Reviews major customer forecasting information and keeps the Sales Leadership Team abreast of any changes -- customer intelligence.
Reviews and works collaboratively to reduce aged inventory. Monitors inventory for all finished good products. Works with customers to manage inventory to target levels.
Responds promptly to customer needs. Communicates cross functionally within ProAmpac to ensure customer needs are supported.
May assist with trade shows and market specific marketing activity. When appropriate, may participate in company promotional events, as well as outside company sales gatherings such as networking events and client promotions.
Occasional travel may be required
Demonstrates appropriate attitude in all dealings with coworkers, customers, and suppliers.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
College degree required, plus a minimum of 5 years of phone-based Inside Sales experience or 3 years of Outside Sales experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.
Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs, and develop solutions and/or options.
