No direct reports Summary: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for accepting incoming calls and making outgoing calls to provide pricing and availability, take orders and handle issues. The CSR should establish themselves as the key contact within Pipeline Plastics for their accounts.

Primary Job Responsibilities: Handle incoming calls and deal with or direct customer problems to the proper person or department for resolution. Confirmation of customer order.

Customer order maintenance Obtain frequently required information from customers regarding forecasting, competition, and product surveys. Build relationships with all customers, specifically the decision makers, and Outside Sales Reps Adhere to Quality, ISO 14001 Provide pricing and availability of products to customers. Pricing and building of unique customer requirement.

Initiate customer contact through telephone calls, marketing surveys or sale leads in advertising. Complete necessary paperwork for unauthorized deductions and credit with assistance as required. Special projects as required.

Other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skill Requirement: This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 - 2 years sales experience supporting a manufacturing operation. piping system knowledge preferred but not necessary. Ability to solve customer issues.

Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management principles and techniques. General understanding of local shipping regulations. Basic knowledge of competitors, preferred.

Good verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Previous customer service and/or warehouse experience preferred but not necessary. Good time management skills.

Excellent customer service skills, phone and email etiquette. Ability to handle stress in fast paced office environment. Proficient sales skills, working with all levels of sales and distribution channels.

Basic/intermediate mathematical skills. Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to work in an open office environment.
