The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling corporate products through the achievement of opportunity- based sales quotas. The Inside Sales Representative will reach business targets through excellent telephone sales and communication skills. This individual will also develop his or her phone-based revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers. Other duties include maintaining a thorough, up to date knowledge of company products, programs, and assisting customers with any related paperwork involved with the sale. Integrity, vision, and passion are essential for this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Inside Sales Representative job duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and e-mail cross-sell and up-sell.
Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process.
Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales.
Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base.
Ability to work individually and as a team.
Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events; set up and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and other sales actions.
Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
Collaborate with Director of Sales to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects.
Overcome objections of prospective customers.
Coordinate customer training as necessary.
Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues.
Attend periodic sales training where applicable.
Attend appropriate event functions when necessary.
Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position.
High School Graduate or GED; associate's degree desirable
Minimum Sales experience of 5 years, motorcycle parts & accessory sales experience a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Perform work accurately and thoroughly.
Communicate effectively with others with the spoken word.
Communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures.
Attention to detail on project or task.
Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.
