Job Purpose

To focus on the organization's mission of developing and maintaining a profitable base of business selling Graco products through outreach and lead-generation by working via telephone, internet, and social media with assigned accounts and prospecting for new accounts in order to meet sales and contributions objectives.

Graco is a global leader in the design, development and manufacture of highly-engineered systems for numerous industrial and commercial applications. This position supports our Lubrication Equipment Division (LED) in Anoka, MN. At LED, Industrial Lubrication products are used in wind energy, general manufacturing and steel and mining industries (http://bit.ly/1jTCVMI). Petroleum Management products control fluids traditionally used for servicing vehicles, including pumps, tanks, hose reels, and meters (http://bit.ly/1krX8Tf).

Essential Duties

  • Manage defined Salesforce lead process via the internet, open chat via Graco website, trade shows, social media, video, targeted campaigns and other sources as assigned

  • Using a defined call frequency and prescribed procedures to directly communicate and sell by telephone, internet, video and social media with assigned customer accounts while also targeting new account building and strengthening customer relationships.

  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records of all identified leads.

  • Successfully introduce new products and promotions by telephone, internet, video and social media to customers.

  • Follow up on customer inquiries, complaints and other requests.

  • Coordinate with Account Managers account development strategies.

  • Elevate Account Managers to handle qualified sales leads, technical issues, demonstrations or critical meetings as needed.

  • Prepare sales activity reports and provide sales management with account and market information.

  • Required to attend trade shows, pro-shows and sales meetings.

  • Provide necessary training via telephone, internet, video and social media to sales partners.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales or equivalent educational experience.

  • Two plus years successful business-to-business sales experience via telephone, internet, video and social media.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, problem solver, relationship builder, excellent time management, and team collaborator

  • Excellent PC skills with experience with CRM software and database management solutions.

  • Willingness to travel a minimal amount.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Vehicle Service market experience.

  • Graco product knowledge.

  • Mechanical aptitude.
