Galliano, LA (Not a remote or hybrid position) Schedule: Monday - Friday (Some overtime) GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: Contacts representatives of organizations to solicit businesses.

Sells products or services to either consumers or other businesses.

Some duties may also include locating new sales opportunities, building mailing lists, and negotiating sales terms and providing product demonstrations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (Other duties may be assigned): Ability to communicate with customers. (internal and external) Ability to solicit pricing from steel venders and then take that information and put together quotes for customers.

Ability to process sales orders, create PO’s and send PO’s to vendors using our internal system. Ability to track and received orders.

Ability to close out sales orders and forward to billing for processing.

Ability to track and maintain inventory and suggest any adjustments that need to be made and process Returns. Ability to investigate and troubleshoot incorrect shipments. Ability to keep up with open PO’s and open sales orders.

Ability to take direction and guidance from others in a team oriented environment. MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Proficient is Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
