Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Inside Sales Representative is central to the growth and development of revenue for the CRST Flatbed enterprise. This individual will be focused on developing new business through follow up on sales leads provided by sales, customer service and operations groups and leveraging those leads into new business relationships with customers. The Inside Sales Representative will also be responsible for developing our client base in under served markets. The position reports to the Director of Operations (Customer Service) and is designed to work closely with the customer service group.
3 years or more of telemarketing and/or inside sales experience required
Transportation sales experience is preferred.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent in practical experience.
The ability to work independently and maintain records of efforts and results.
Effective communication skills both electronically and over the phone.
Entry Level Position
The person in this role may be requested to assume other responsibilities on an ad hoc basis if business needs dictate.
There may be some travel as business needs dictate.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience
