Job Summary: BBSI is looking for a highly skilled salesperson to join a dynamic sales team selling structural steel pipe, tube and other roll-formed profiles. With an established 40-year-old manufacturing company, our client utilizes cutting-edge technology and offers exciting and solid careers with benefits. Pay Rate: $18.23/hr. - $25/hr, depending on experience

Job Location: Lindon

Shift: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday with possible OT

Responsibilities: Applicants could be required to do any of the following:

  • Will be selling products business-to-business

  • Seek out new accounts receivable via cold-calling other businesses

  • Maintain relationships built with other businesses and sales professionals

  • Learn the ins-and-outs of our steel product, pricing, and product specifications

  • Work to reactivate old accounts receivable

  • Organize and maintain physical and digital documents

  • Learn to work with multiple co-workers and departments to order, manufacture, and deliver real product to our clients in a timely manner

  • Stay up-to-date on current events that affect our product's pricing and availability

  • Have confidence when talking to clients over the phone and in person when speaking of our operation and products

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least three years of successful experience selling physical products

  • Strong work ethic

  • Knowledge of computer systems and software tools, such as MS Office

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Entry-level to expert-level of steel sales

  • A cognitive reasoning test will be administered on-site before a job position is offered
