INSIDE SALES JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Inside Sales rep you will talk to interested homeowners on the phone who have visited our HVAC ecommerce website and are interested in buying products. You'll have enjoyable conversations asking about their needs, making product recommendations that will fit their needs, explaining the benefits of the products, and asking for and taking the order. As part of this customer communication you'll also create quotes and correspond using email, website chat, and phone follow-up. All of the work takes place during regular business hours on a set schedule, in the comfort of our attractive office. It's an awesome job for an experienced communicator looking to use their outstanding verbal skills to advance their career!

Good news! We have built a sophisticated proprietary software system that automatically tracks engagement between you, other Alpine Inside Sales reps and prospects at touch-points along the sales path, and gives you credit for all your contributions even if you're not the rep who closed the sale. For example, if you speak with a prospect on the phone for 20 minutes, and then that prospect calls back later and places the order with a different rep, both you and the other rep will automatically receive a portion of the sales credit, based on individual contribution. The system cleverly tracks all the sales reps who may have been involved with a sale, including:
Each player in the sale gets a "slice of the action" proportional to their impact on the final sale. If you're the only rep to have contact with the customer, then you of course get full credit for the sale. This super-fair system is transparently reported and available to you at all times on all orders, and tracked down to the product detail. Performance pay based on how much you sell, calculated in this manner of attribution, is tabulated and paid out weekly and monthly. This means you'll never have to worry about losing out if you've helped make a sale. You'll always get performance pay for any and all contributions you make towards helping close a sale!
In addition to performance pay based on how much you sell, you're also given performance pay based on how happy you're making prospects and customers. This pay combo gives you recognition and compensation for both your hard skills and soft skills.
