The Inside Sales Representative serves as the main point of contact for customers' purchase orders, proof of delivery, and estimated time of arrival (ETAs) for our products. In this role, the Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, generating leads through various channels, administering special programs, and supporting our sales team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Customer Support:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for purchase orders, proof of delivery, and ETAs related to Allura fiber cement products.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests promptly, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and customer satisfaction.

  • Proactively stay in touch with customers on a regular basis to nurture relationships and address any potential concerns.

  • Strive to provide customers with excellent service throughout their interactions with the company.

Lead Generation:

  • Utilize both inbound and outbound channels, including Sales Force and the company website, to generate potential leads for Allura fiber cement products.

  • Identify and qualify potential customers who express interest in our products, understanding their specific needs and requirements.

  • Assess the potential of leads to become customers based on various criteria, including location and budget considerations.

  • Collaborate with relevant teams to schedule appointments with prospective customers.

Rebate Program Administration:

  • Administer price lists and other sales materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Generate reports and facilitate the process of requesting rebates for eligible customers.

  • Execute sales strategies to maximize the effectiveness of the rebate program.

Marketing and Product Information:

  • Provide customers with sample literature and comprehensive information about our company's products and services, particularly Allura fiber cement products.

  • Present Allura fiber cement products to customers effectively, highlighting their features and benefits.

  • Manage marketing materials and samples efficiently, ensuring they are up-to-date and readily available for distribution.

  • Communicate promotions, price updates, and other relevant information to customers as needed.

Territory Manager Performance Tracking:

  • Develop monthly scorecards to track the performance of each Territory Sales Manager.

  • Analyze volumes generated by Distributors, Dealers, etc., to evaluate the effectiveness of their efforts.

  • Use the scorecards to identify areas for improvement and support the professional development of Territory Sales Managers.

Multifamily Quotes Management:

  • Monitor and track the expiration dates of all multifamily quotes.

  • Proactively contact customers to notify them of expiring quotes and explore opportunities to secure projects.

  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to provide additional information for analysis and decision-making.

  • Gather information on lost projects to identify underlying reasons and inform relevant stakeholders to enhance future performance.

  • Utilize strong communication skills to present our products and services to prospective customers effectively.

  • Prioritize and manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently.

  • Ability to complete critical tasks in a timely manner to meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrate strong computer skills to navigate various software and tools for sales and marketing activities.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Minimum of (1) year experience in a sales or marketing role.
