The Inside Sales Representative is primarily accountable for lead generation and qualifying customers for our outside sales team to close. This resource will be responsible for heavy call volume both inbound and outbound to manage specific inside sales initiatives that enable sales growth. Management of information flow within our Salesforce CRM software will be critical to the success of the role. The inside sales individual is responsible for monitoring the progress of the inside sales opportunity funnel and communicating initiative summaries consistently and may play a role in post conversion support. Within certain initiatives the inside sales rep will even have the autonomy to negotiate pricing and close a sale. In addition this person will have responsibilities to improve new product awareness, provide market research, maintain account information and accuracy, substitute for areas/customers without an active outside sales reps, monitor and track status of jobs, and build trust and relationships. This person will report directly to the Inside Sales Team Lead.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead generation and qualification, including booking appointments and access hand off to outside sales rep.
Need to have strong product knowledge of all products.
Ability to persuade and achieve sales success through customer education by highlighting the company's value proposition.
Account manage small contractor conversions through promotions, programs and other opportunities.
High frequency contact with small dealer outreach program to drive growth and retention.
