Who You Are

An Inside Sales Professional handles the first point of contact between our team and prospective home buyers and sellers. We are looking for a talented individual who possesses high levels of sales, communication and business development skills. Inside Sales Agents are responsible for prospecting new leads through a variety of methods and improving our lead conversion rate.

This position demands a strong work ethic and a passion for building relationships with clients. Inside Sales Professionals possess a growth-mindset, are organized, and strive to make their clients happy. If you are a self-starter this could be a great opportunity for you!

In this role, you will...

  • Qualify leads to accurately convey motivation, competition, and financial specifics to real estate agents.

  • Pick up the phone and have conversations with new leads.

  • Manage a sales pipeline using digital communication methods.

  • Contact prospects after the initial meeting via phone, text, email, to add them to the sales pipeline.

  • Use CRM to compile a list of all leads to ensure agents have up-to-date information to move through the listing and closing process.

  • Maintain a database of prospective clients to ensure organization and follow-up on all leads.

Inside Sales - Mass Spectrometry Instruments, Americas (East) Position Summary: Are you ready to take the next step in your Sales career? The Inside Sales Representative will focus on identifying and cultivating new instrument sales opportunities and improving win rate across multiple market segments and applications for SCIEX's entry-level and mid-range performance LC/MS/MS product portfolio. You will develop and execute a growth focused business strategy aimed at expanding SCIEX's market share across all addressable market segments in the eastern continental USA territory. In this role you will report directly to the Executive Territory Manager and will have the opportunity to partner with leading application scientists, collaborating to uncover capital equipment sales opportunities, emerging applications, and unmet needs. The success of the role will be measured by overall sales performance and expansion of visibility to the addressable entry and mid-range level mass spectrometry market. This role has significant potential for advancement leading up to instrument sales territory manager roles with responsibility for a broader product portfolio in the future! This position can be remote / home based. Responsibilities & Duties: Business Development & Funnel Building: * Achieve or exceed sales quota for the designated eastern segment of the USA by prospecting and uncovering sales opportunities with new customers, converting competitive users, and discovering unmet needs. * Uncover emerging markets and applications that the product portfolio can address. * Conduct effective customer meetings/presentations/seminars that drive demand. Attend and support local technical shows and mass spectrometry related discussion groups. * Effectively use social media & other virtual sales tools to prospect for new business opportunities. * Timely and accurate forecasting and sales pipeline generation and management is essential with regular weekly updates into Salesforce.com. * Partner with local Sales Territory Managers as needed to ensure opportunities to upsell to higher end products are fully explored. * Provide regular market dynamic (drivers, competitive environment) updates to the Americas Market Development Organization to support impactful marketing/demand generation campaigns. * Partner with the technical applications team to identify supporting content and collateral required to drive demand in target markets. * Collaborate with local service, applications support, and after-market resources to ensure total complete customer satisfaction. Qualifications: * Bachelor degree, in life sciences or related analytical field and minimum of 3 years' of overall industry experience in a commercial sales or analytical sciences laboratory role. * Knowledge of Industrial, Environmental, Food and Beverage industries would be considered a plus. * Effective interpersonal skills both written and verbal, with proven ability to influence, work, and communicate effectively with customers and peers. * Adept at using Microsoft Project Manager, Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook), and experience with Salesforce.com customer resource management is a plus. * Must travel routinely within territory to customer accounts, and quarterly/annual sales meetings at various locations. * Able to respond quickly to competitive situations and influence customer buying decisions. * Demonstrates strong initiative and willingness to take ownership for results.
