Job Summary

The Inside Sales Manager position is responsible for managing a team of Inside Account Managers (IAMs), who support a specific Business Unit's (BUs) customers in the Enterprise Inside Sales Department. The manager will be tasked with providing support and guidance for all aspects of the sales cycle within the scope of the sales team. This position will report to a Sr. Inside Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support, training, and guidance to Inside Account Managers (IAMs)

  • Delegate, coordinate, and supervise IAM activities and responsibilities

  • Monitor employee performance and attendance records

  • Assist in the development of SHI's World Class Support policies which promote good customer relationships

  • Investigate and resolve non-routine customer complaints

  • Handle escalated problems concerning service orders and adjustments of exchanges

  • Communicate effectively with Account Executives, provide regular updates, obtain feedback, and implement new processes

  • Serve as first point of contact on customer escalation path

  • Manage SharePoint team site(s)

  • Conduct IAM quarterly evaluations and annual reviews

  • Maintain team coverage and contingency plans

  • Track of monthly metrics, provide reporting, and maintain team specific documentation

  • Some travel may be required - to attend Outside Sales Regional Meetings.

  • Exhibit high level of confidentiality with employees and management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience

  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience (Inside Sales/Outside)

Required Skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate with Inside Team, Account Executives, management and other departments

  • Ability to continuously educate yourself on hardware and software licensing products

  • Working knowledge of SHI tools and applications, customer base, and processes

  • Ability to anticipate problems which could arise and take measures to prevent them

  • Exhibit high level of confidentiality with employees and management

  • Ability to address personnel issues and uphold SHI policies and standards

  • Possess a very involved and collaborative approach to management and integration with the Inside Sales team

  • Management/Leadership skills with ability to set an example to employees of an outstanding IAM and SHI employee

Unique Requirements

  • This position may require some travel to attend Outside Sales Regional Meetings (10%)

Terumo Medical Corporation is comprised of two strategic business divisions: Terumo Interventional Systems and Terumo Medical Products.</p><p>Job Summary:</p><p>3-6 Month Temp with potential to convert to permanent opportunity.</p><p>The Inside Sales Support Representative (ISSR) is responsible for achieving sales and business goals determined annually by the Inside Sales Support Manager (ISSM) for the specific regions assigned to the ISSR. These sales will be tracked and measured from assigned accounts given by ISSM. Assist Territory Managers (TM) and Region Managers (RM) in reaching their respective territory and regional sales goals determined annually by the TIS executive leadership team. Ensure thorough and timely follow-up to customer's questions and concerns. Manage all administrative work with respect with the ISSR's region alignment and deployed on a consistent basis with the RM/TM territory alignment.</p><p>This is a developmental role designed to prepare incumbents to successfully transition into a field-based Territory Manager role or corporate based marketing or operations role. In order to make this transition, incumbents must be open to future relocation.</p><p>Job Details:</p><p>Achieve the assigned ISSR Regional Sales Goals.</p><p>Execute the sales and marketing plan, tactics and messaging set forth and agreed to by sales and marketing.</p><p>Complete assigned sales pipeline and indicator reports within assigned deadlines.</p><p>Follow-up all leads generated for the ISSR by the RM/TMs, Marketing and Customer Service departments within the timeframes indicated for the request and/or campaign.</p><p>5.Maintain and grow existing business and develop new business opportunities.</p><p>6.Identify and quickly respond to competitive threats within the territory. Communicate market intelligence/competitor activity promptly to Region Manager or ISSM.</p><p>7.Interact with Marketing in Product Management to address ISSR customer and/or RM/TM customer questions and inquiries.</p><p>8.Work with TMC Regulatory and Quality departments to address ISSR customer and/or RM/TM customer complaints, questions and inquiries.</p><p>9.Train and mentor any new ISSRs hired.</p><br><ol start="10"><br><li><p>Handle all requests from Customer Administration forwarded to the ISSR, assuring a timely resolution.</p></li><li><p>Drive strong customer satisfaction in all ISS-RR assigned and RM/TM accounts.</p></li><li><p>Participate in Regional, Territory and National sales meetings to assure strong alignment and collaboration with Sales and Marketing. Complete all administrative duties required for the position.</p></li><li><p>Develop sales and clinical acumen so that competent field coverage can be counted on in specific and detailed opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Attend and represent Terumo at trade shows.</p></li><li><p>Responsible for special projects and for ongoing process improvement efforts as needed.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with all TMC Quality Systems requirements. This includes but is not limited to the prompt recognition and forwarding of customer complaints (i.e. adverse events, product performance reports, etc.) to Quality Assurance (QA), and by ensuring all promotional messaging (i.e. branding strategies, product claims, etc.) and materials (i.e. literature) discussed or presented to customers are clinically accurate and adhere to AdvaMed guidelines and Terumo's policy on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals. Fully adhere to all applicable FDA regulations, international guidelines and Terumo's policies at all times.</p></li><li><p>Understand and adhere to regulations regarding proper usage of promotional materials.</p></li><li><p>Perform other job related duties as assigned.</p></li><br></ol><p>Working Conditions:</p><p>1.This position exists in an office environment. Occasional overnight travel is required including occasional weekend travel. As individual development progress, the amount of travel is expected to increase as the incumbent may be temporarily assigned to coverage vacant field-based sales territories.</p><p>2.Occasional entry to hospitals and other medical facilities is required. Many facilities have instituted vendor credentialing policies which require vendors to meet defined training, background check and proof of immunization requirements as a condition of entry. Terumo Associates entering these facilities are required to abide by these credentialing requirements.</p><p>3.When visiting hospitals and other medical facilities, must be able to gain access to and work in the IR suite, Cath lab and operating room.
