Reporting to Inside Sales Director, the Inside Sales Manager is responsible for designing and implementing improved process or operational policies to support Nidec business needs.
Key Role & Responsibilities
Have a working knowledge of the job requirements of all Inside Sales positions. Responsible for the selection of interviewing and hiring personnel.
Responsible for activities of direct reports. Perform performance appraisals and conduct one-on-one with direct reports. Function as key escalation point and problem solver.
Insure that quotations and inquiries process is functioning effectively and meeting customer expectations and department objectives. Maintain and monitor timely service level guidelines for all forms of department order entry. Review and approve/reject credit and RGA requests, accurately and in a timely manner, according to department procedures.
Identify, communicate and support resolution of problems inside and outside the Inside Sales Department. Work directly with other department mangers to address and resolve inter-departmental issues that may negatively impact the overall customer service process. Manage workloads to insure the Inside Sales Reps have the required time and resources to deliver a high level of accessibility to Customers as well as fast, accurate and responsive service.
Develop, track and manage performance metrics and take appropriate actions to continually improve departmental processes. Actively acquire and maintain product and systems knowledge and identify, construct and deliver training as required. Apply, build and develop a comprehensive Team Work environment. Other tasks not noted here but may be required to preform the job.
