You will lead and develop our Inside Sales team in solving educators' insurance needs. You will be led by the Assistant Vice President of Contact Center Sales and Operations. You will be responsible for implementing strategies to drive new business growth in our Property and Casualty products. You will drive and support a team of Inside Sales representatives to exceed new business production goals. You must possess exceptional sales talent, to direct the sales team and assist in expanding Horace Mann's reach to educators. You be able to work cross-functionally with other areas of the business to assist you with driving growth within our sales team. You will be supported by our Underwriting and Marketing teams to continue to grow our new business.
Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
Manage day-to-day operations of Inside Sales ensuring we are adhering to sales processes and responding to all inquiries in a timely manner
Responsible for working with our Service teams, Marketing and other business areas to drive initiatives to help improve processes, improve customer experience, and drive growth in the business.
Interpret and analyze data with the goal of identifying areas for improvement and ensuring improvements are implemented.
Lead team with the focus on developing talent and ensuring necessary skills are obtained to meet business demands.
Accountable for all recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training of Inside Sales staff.
Responsible for delivery of projects and initiatives within the organization

Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Must be able to manage competing priorities and maintain open communication with all interested parties
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Strong business sense and industry expertise
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
May manage up to 10 direct reports
College Degree in business-related field or equivalent/demonstrated experience
