Position: Inside Sales Manager
Location: Eagle Rock, VA
Reports To: VP/GM Maag - Americas
The Inside Sales Manager is repsonsible for developing and executing efficient sales processes for our MAAG Group Americas team (in coordination with our global MAAG Group teams). Product Portfolio Management, Sales Training, Sales Force Training and Sales Tools development are part of his/her portfolio of responsibilities. All MAAG Group product lines are included in his/her portfolio. The Inside Sales Leader will be focused on achieving a vision to mazimize customer value and services. The position is centered around new equipment salses AND after sales service (spare parts, refurb, etc.). Developing our inside and outside sales staff skill set is critical in order to achieve higher levels of sales and support.
Lead organization in developing effective processes to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Provide leadership to sales team with respect to developing world class value selling tools (case studies, presentations, apps, configurators etc.) to aid in selling our products.
Understand the competitive environment and provide guidance and tools on how to sell against competitive technology.
Develop lead creating and management tools.
Hiring, training and growing our customer facing people to serve our customers professionally and be recognized in the industry as the team with outstanding customer support.
Achieve sales bookings targets across all pelletizing operations in Maag Americas.
Achieve aftersales bookings targets, resulting in achieving growth targets.
Lead Product management within the assigned products.
Be part of the development of the AOP and 3-year strategic plan strategies to grow sales and aftersales levels.
Interact with Polymer, Extrusion, Industrial and Pulverizer Sales teams to optimize customer support and growth.
Meet on occasion with customers to build lasting relationships and identify areas for improvement in Maag's support.
Lead continuous improvement efforts within team to review lessons learned, track quote levels and order hit rate, and optimize conversion strategies.
Preferred Skills / Experience:
Sales training including 7 or more years of hands on sales experience.
Plastics industry background.
Training on polymer processing technologies
Experience in Leading Teams through Continuous Improvement Processes.
Proven ability to grow Sales and Aftermarket Sales.
