In support of continued growth, the world's first offensive cybersecurity company is looking for driven, ambitious & hungry Inside Sales Reps to join our Internal Sales team. This is an office-based position, based from our offices in either San Francisco or Washington DC. You will work on greenfield areas to establish relationships with new customers to uncover high-value opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with new prospective customers and representing Darktrace across your region, identifying all potential business opportunities.
  • Identifying key decision makers whilst developing and qualifying new business opportunities within the targeted markets through cold calling, event recruitment and high-level prospecting.
  • Articulating the value proposition and helping the customer understand how it will improve their businesss information security.
  • Earning trust and developing relationships with senior executives by displaying knowledge, professionalism and relevance to business issues.
  • Meeting set targets and working closely with Marketing and Sales by methodically working on and following up on a variety of sales campaigns.
  • Maintaining quality relationships with your manager and external customer-facing Account Executives to support new business growth.
  • Consistently achieving quarterly and annual KPIs.
  • Booking direct one-to-one meetings at customers' sites and at trade shows.
  • Writing succinct emails to highlight the capabilities of the offering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn and/or CRM is desirable
  • Sales experience is not necessary but is a plus
  • Knowledge of or a keen interest in technology and security
  • A competitive nature will set you apart

As an Internet Sales Representative you will sell products and services to an assigned geographic or national account base territory to achieve assigned objectives. Generates sales leads as well as closing the sales on line or by phone. Utilizes inbound and/or outbound calls to pursue sales. Develops account penetration strategies, and closes business . Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Works under general supervision. Seeks intervention from his/her manager on complex deals that fall outside of existing guidelines. 3 years of relevant experience. Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone with high level decision makers. Ability to work independently.
