TheInside Sales Representativewill be critical to delivering the continued expansion and growth of the AMCS suite of products in North America. This opportunity is ideal for candidates interested in taking the next step in their sales career, joining an established team in a fast-moving high-tech SaaS environment.

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative will drive sales growth of AMCS solutions and service opportunities within their assigned territory. The Inside Sales Representative owns all stages of the sales cycle, from qualification to close. Critical thinking is key as the Inside Sales Representative will work directly with our customers and prospects to understand their technical and business challenges and identify ways to apply AMCS solutions to resolve those challenges.

Demo Experience is necessary


  • Establish and execute a strategic growth plan for the assigned territory
  • Manage and drive sales pipeline to achieve and exceed assigned sales quota
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
  • Be the subject matter expert on all services and products offered by AMCS Group
  • Maintain frequent and strategic communication with customers, including a 90-120 post-sale analysis for upsell opportunities
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success and Business Development teams on new opportunities, including customer visits and solution demonstrations
  • Work with Technical and Delivery teams on solution demonstration and identifying customer requirements
  • Successfully transition customers from sale closed to implementation
  • Work with the professional services team to ensure a smooth project handover
  • Work as a part of a larger selling team including Business Development Representatives and Pre-Sales Engineers
  • Track and analyze sales activities in our sales operations platforms
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects
  • Provide feedback and solutions on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation
  • Other responsibilities as needed


  • Bachelors degree and 1-2 years of inside sales/ closing experience w/ a Track record of exceeding revenue quota
  • Excellent communication skills (active listening, written, verbal and presentation)
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to articulate complex technology concepts to a technical and non-technical audience
  • Experience with or similar CRM
  • Driven and self-motivated
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Experience working in a work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated success in closing business over the phone
  • Experience in lead generation and cold-calling
  • Capacity to negotiate and cut through rejection to achieve sales goals
  • Ability to articulate complex technology concepts to a technical and non-technical audience
  • Industry experience is a plus

This team is responsible for achieving and exceeding revenue targets through pipeline generation, marketing activities, and management of strategic partners. The solution focus being Carbonite cloud backup & recovery (server and endpoint), DRaaS, high availability, migration solutions, and services in addition to Webroot cybersecurity offerings. The Carbonite + Webroot portfolio provides resilience for our customers in terms of data protection and security, in a world where businesses are seeing an increase in attacks and challenges. We call this Cyber Resilience. The goal of this team is to ensure our customers and our partners reach their data protection and sales goals, and key performance targets are met and exceeded. Channel Partners are critical to our growth strategy and our Channel Team is the foundation to their success. As an Inside Sales Executive (ISE), you will be responsible for building a go-to-market business plan to grow, develop, and cultivate Carbonite + Webroot opportunities and target accounts within the assigned territory. You will become a cyber-resilience expert and will work closely with an assigned Inside Sales Executive as well as Solutions Engineers to tell the cyber resilience story and deliver the value proposition to our partners and their customers. You'll play a key role in establishing the value proposition of Carbonite + Webroot's portfolio as an additional revenue stream for your partners. You will also work with the marketing team to regularly drive demand generation campaigns in your territory. You'll need to build executive-level and strategic relationships within these accounts and jointly identify targeted customer accounts and new revenue opportunities with end-users and partners. This is a dynamic role representing both Carbonite and Webroot products on the front line and requiring strategic thinking, strong sales acumen, and a willingness to support the broader Sales teams in achieving and exceeding sales goals. This role requires self-motivation, high energy, and a results-oriented mindset. You Are Great At * Achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual sales goals * Helping customers and partners progress through our sales process. * Working effectively in a team setting with AEs, SEs, BDRs, etc. * Building and nurturing top-down, key relationships within target accounts * Developing and implementing strategic business plans for your territory in conjunction with sales leadership on the company's overall vision and business model * Identifying and sell into new Mid-Market accounts where our offerings help protect their revenue streams. * Coordinating and delivering sales and technical enablement to partners in collaboration with the sales engineering team - enabling our partners to think of us first when a project arises * Maintaining high levels of activity and productivity in a highly autonomous, mostly virtual work environment * Showing resourcefulness working with cross-functional teams * Resolving disputes and understanding contractual language * Assisting channel marketing in the development and execution of marketing plans and effective lead generation strategies for key partners * Account mapping with partners whether in-person or virtual and driving overall awareness * Attending virtual and in-person trade shows and industry-related events to solicit new target accounts.
