The Specialist is the inside communication link between OPW and its customers. The specialist assists customers, via phone, written correspondence, and E-Commerce. Support may be provided on orders, ship dates, expedite requests, complaints and questions. The Specialist is always courteous, maintains timely and orderly paperwork and works to keep all departments up to date with critical information required to meet company goals. The goal of the Specialist is to make our customers' interactions with OPW effective and pleasant as possible.
Provide quality customer support by handling incoming customer calls in an effective and courteous manner.
Preform accurate and timely processing for all required documentation including but not limited to: orders, Merchandise Return Authorizations (RMA), Quotes, and Invoices.
Provide accurate and timely information to our customers regarding pricing, order status, ship dates, expedite requests, and other information as requested.
Track performance data related to proposals and product designs.
Assist the Regional Managers and customers with the E-Commerce Site.
Alert appropriate team member of large quantity and/or large dollar inquiries, new customer activity, and product quality reports.
Attend all required meetings and trainings.
Other activities as directed by the management team.
Associates' degree in Business, Technical Support or related field.
Three (3) years job related experience.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Position is based in the greater Cincinnati area (Lebanon, OH).
Bachelors' degree in Business, Technical Support or related field.
Five (5) years' experience in Customer Service operations or Technical Support.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Working knowledge of Oracle.
High level of customer focus and ability to maintain a positive attitude.
Detail Oriented and well organized.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times with customers and coworkers.
Fully proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PPT).
Majority of time will be spent sitting at a desk, on the phone and computer.
Required to have the ability to move throughout the office and plant.
Possible bending, kneeling, stretching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
