Inside Sales Consultant

New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking an inside sales consultant to provide support to achieve new customer goals, margin and customer satisfaction standards.

Major Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound and outbound marketing and sales calls

• Manage opportunities and create accurate leads, coding and remarks in the Customer Information System

• Screen and qualify new construction, conversion and renewal marketing and sales inquiries

• Key contact and resource for marketing program initiatives, examples include: renewal program, generator inquiries, Realtor Program, Employee Lead Program, Community Conversion Program

• Provide market intelligence to assist new program development and initiatives

• Manage, balance and dispatch field work based on customer needs and marketing resources

• Proactively initiate activities to ensure high customer satisfaction levels

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales or related field is preferred

• 3 - 5 years of proven sales experience

• Organized, positive and highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team environment across business units and professional disciplines

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, mobile devices (iPads) and CRM systems is integral to the role
