Inside Sales Chicago NSS Contractor Rep
Outstanding salesperson needed to take care of our customers and grow our business in the Chicago-land market. Compensation includes Salary + Commission
Hours: 8 am 5 pm

This position is for a contractor desk on the NSS Chicago team. Individual will inherit an existing book of low-voltage contractors and resellers and will be expected to grow current customers and find new ones.
Relentless motor in making outbound phone calls required, as is developing new business. Must work in tandem with other contractor reps as well as the NSS Chicago End User reps to win as much market share as possible. Working with vendors to negotiate pricing is expected to ensure projects are as profitable as possible while maintaining low competitive pricing for customers.
A typical day would entail answering emails and phone calls, handling numerous quote request and purchase orders at once while ensuring deployments are delivered to customer promptly. Sense of urgency is a mandatory requirement for the position as quotes must be turned around to contractors in a lightning-quick fashion. Time must be blocked out for developing new business and selling wider and deeper into the market.
Commissions are paid out monthly based on gross profit dollars and GP% against assigned goal numbers. Compete against other sales reps in contests and win prizes, enjoy the camaraderie in striving to achieve team goals. Sell a full portfolio of low voltage solutions including copper and fiber cabling and connectivity, physical security, power, metals, Professional A/V equipment, wireless technologies, and intelligent lighting.
