POSITION SUMMARY:

Configure, price, and process orders for Made-to-Order Drilling Product assemblies. Provide a customer-centric and responsive experience in Drilling Products where responsiveness and accuracy drive customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configuration and Pricing of Made-to-Order Drilling Products including understanding customer preferences/requirements and anticipation of customer questions related to configuration.

  • Accept orders and coordinate delivery and order fulfillment with Operations.

  • Bridge Purchasing function on key items needed for immediate order fulfillment

  • Manage customer leads and opportunity development.

  • Provide after-hours support for customer orders.

  • Resolve customer issues (e.g., debit & credit issues, etc.).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will not have any direct reports.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Experience dealing directly with customers and pricing sales experience preferred.

  • Oil & Gas experience preferred

  • Knowledge in API specifications preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite and ERP systems, such as Oracle.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to influence and work effectively with a cross-functional team.

  • Demonstrated business acumen and attention to detail.

  • Must be responsive to customer requests and demands.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
