As an Inside Sales Account Manager for the Water organization, you will be responsible for selling IDEXX Water products and services to customers and prospects over the phone. You will partner with an Outside Water Sales Representative to leverage the strengths and value of the IDEXX Water portfolio with a targeted sales approach to drive profitable revenue and customer satisfaction. It will be important to identify and generate demand among customers while maintaining effective customer relationships.
What to expect:
Sell the value of the IDEXX products over the phone. Work to grow business annually through gaining new customers and cross-selling products to existing business.
Proven track record of closing sales and meeting quarterly sales goals. Build, manage and document sales pipeline through Salesforce.com. Build a strategy with your Outside Sales Representative partner in order to grow your territory.
What you need to succeed:
2+ years of inside sales experience with the drive to achieve or exceed sales goals. Ability to develop, grow and manage customer relationships. Strong time management skills in order to prioritize sales activities, i.e., in/outbound calls, email communications, web inquiries, Salesforce sales pipeline. Strong listening and questioning skills in order to uncover information and objections.
Ability to understand technical products. Gain experience in dealing with a diverse group of end-users in public, private laboratories, wastewater treatment. Self-motivated, team player and well organized in order to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
