Company markets and distributes a variety of fruits, vegetables and specialty items to supermarkets, food service, restaurants and wholesalers across the US and Canada.
Grow the business from within from existing client base. Drive inside sales and margin goals through direct contact with key customer accounts within an assigned territory.
Identify and develop new sales opportunities within existing accounts by up-selling and cross-selling.
Maintain consistent client contact and keeps the sales team updated.
Manage and resolve conflicts with customers.
Occasional travel outside the office to conduct sales calls, represent the company at industry trade shows / events.
Works closely with Business Development and Sales Team for prospecting and to create, manage and execute business plans.
Collaborates with other departments on sourcing, logistics and packaging.
Work schedule: Early morning to early afternoons.
BS / BA.
3+ years food sales experience.
Experience selling into retailers.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and comfortable using and learning new applications; Maximizer, Discovery and other public platforms.
Working knowledge in sourcing, logistics, business planning, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Maximizer CRM.
Salary: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00
