Job Description

We are seeking a highly self-motivated, competitive Inside Marketing and Sales representative to join our organization. This position will play a critical role in nurturing prospects, positioning products and solutions and establishing a positive brand impression. The primary responsibility will be to reach out to prospects who have engaged with Avaya marketing assets and inquire as to their readiness and ability to consider and purchase Avaya solutions. Leads will be provided that require some elements of research - know the company and person to whom you are speaking, understand the content and engagement with Avaya, and then have one or multiple conversations to uncover BANT qualification - do they have budget, are they a buyer/decision maker with authority, are their needs defined and is the timing ready to engage a sales rep. Working closely with the marketing, sales and channel organizations, this individual will engage directly with customers and prospects to qualify opportunities, promote new products and features and secure leads for the sales organization. These individuals receive a base salary and semi-annual bonus based on their performance - both subjective and objective including MQL to SQL conversion rate.

Primary Responsibilities

  • BANT qualification of marketing leads

  • Work heavily within SalesForce.com to update and pass leads to sales

  • Develop relationships with sales, marketing and the partner community

  • Prospecting of company and contact prior to contacting them to engage in a more personalized discussion. Know about their business and industry.

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to clients as directed to uncover opportunities to upsell new products or features.

  • Call out to event attendees to confirm attendance and post event follow up.

  • Collect feedback from prospects and clients and make suggestions for messaging and positioning changes that resonate with the market

  • Work with marketing and engineers to maintain an active knowledge of Avaya's products, services, competitors and current promotions/campaigns

  • Answer customer's questions regarding products, services, and product delivery

  • Prepare reports as needed to support the Sales/Marketing dept. #LI-NA1

Knowledge &Skills

  • Customer focused, courteous, detail oriented, persuasive and tactful

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Ability to multi-task while still maintaining attention to detail

  • Direct telephone selling experience

  • BS/BA is preferred but not required

  • Experience in customer facing work

  • 1+ year of inside sales experience a plus

  • Proficient at Microsoft Office

  • Experience with Salesforce a plus

He or she will be responsible for: managing all marketing and sales technologies, including the CRM and marketing automation systems and all relevant system integrations; establishing and assisting in evaluating key performance indicator metrics; and will be responsible for building strategic business value to reinforce fact-based decision making. Essential Responsibilities * Advocate for business decisions grounded in comprehensive risk and opportunity assessment * Responsible for management our current platforms (Salesforce and Pardot); this includes but is not limited to planning, development, training, and management of all integrations and relevant systems * Evaluates, implements, and integrates new marketing and sales solutions; identifies opportunities to leverage our existing technology stack to its fullest extent * Establishes, improves, and maintains the processes needed to measure and track the health of our leads; identifies areas of improvement in coordination with sales and marketing team * Establishes and defines key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards used to translate web analytics data into insights; identifies and prioritizes campaign and conversion optimization opportunities and evaluates campaign performance * Responsible for maintenance of dashboards and reporting for all daily, weekly, and monthly business metrics delivered to leadership and sales and marketing team; assists in business assessment and decision-making * Manages and maintains data quality within the marketing database, including but not limited to compliance tracking, enrichment, audience builds, and regional targeting/segmentation * Interprets data from multiple sources, spot trends/anomalies/outliers, integrates raw data, and creates models to test hypotheses and A/B testing frameworks * Other duties as needed Minimum Acceptable Qualifications Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, economics, statistics, or related field * Not less than five (5) years' experience working as a business/marketing analyst * Not less than five (5) years' experience managing marketing automation, marketing technology and CRM systems, including complex lead management and routing models Skills: * Demonstrated ability to managing marketing operations process including lead management, database management, segmentation, field mapping, and data enrichment * Demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce and marketing automation (Pardot preferred) * Savvy with system integrations (Experience with Salesforce/Netsuite integrations a plus) * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Netsuite preferred * Creative problem-solving skills and strategic perspective; proven ability to solve complicated analytical problems * Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities;
