As an Inside Sales Consultant you will be joining our fast-growing, dynamic sales team at Topgolf's Home Office in Dallas. The position will assist in supporting new venue openings by selling events prior to the local sales team being hired. The Inside Sales team will assist with over-flow leads during high volume times and actively pursue outbound sales efforts for select venues. Associates who excel in this role will have the opportunity to advance their career by joining a local venue sales team or within other sales opportunities at the Home Office. This role reports to the Inside Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to event inquires that are received via RFP's on and via phone

  • Have a firm grasp and understanding of Topgolf's Event Sales

  • Identify prospects' needs and buying motives and offer guidance on what Topgolf products will help the prospect achieve their goals

  • Upsell event enhancement products and services to assist in creating amazing event experiences

  • Deliver excellent service through prompt, thorough and friendly interactions with all guests

  • Meet or exceed call minimums and sales goals on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis

  • Exceed established key performance indicators (KPI's)

  • Work within a fast-paced team environment

  • Be open to on-going coaching and sales technique development including being actively engaged in sales training sessions to improve personal salesmanship

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all current clients and prospects with our Delphi CRM system

  • Actively pursue outbound business development opportunities to increase leads and ultimately sales at select US Venues as chosen by Sales Leadership Team

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required; prefer Sport Management or Hospitality Management

  • Ability to communicate effectively with new guests, return guests, co-workers and management

  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel, Word and CRM Applications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to excel and multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Responds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances; embraces change and welcomes fresh perspectives

  • Motivated and driven individual who can positively work with and lead others

  • Ability to work flexible hours
