The Sales Analyst will work closely with the sales leaders, sales enablement leader and other stakeholders to consolidate and report data according to the rhythm of the business, perform ad-hoc reporting tasks, develop new ways to enhance our data and provide easily consumable and actionable reporting. This position will provide insights, identify trends and provide deep analysis and influence key decisions with relevant data.
The Sales Analyst will review data and performance metrics and coordinates with Sales Team to meet program goals and accelerate success.
Review portfolio statistical performance and behavior trending. Analyze data for sales trends and product analysis. Implement tracking tools to obtain demographics data and customer buying patterns.
Analyze sales territory, do cost and performance analysis of existing customers vs new customer acquisition.
Generate reports for forecast and collaborate forecast into weekly-monthly reports.
Provide analysis to support sales operations. Provide input on segmentation process in support of business planning, including analysis. Collect, analyze, evaluate and report data in order to increase sales productivity. Collect sales records and trends and evaluate performance measured against sales quotas. Analyze sales performance records, interpret results of overall sales. Generate ad hoc reporting for sales, marketing, business planning and product management.
Reviews data and performance metrics and coordinates with Sales Team to meet program goals and accelerate business growth
Leverage innovative ways to manage our productivity and pipeline data, drive towards an automated data collection process and report back to stakeholders.
Effectively articulate data issues, key findings, trends and results to various levels of management
Assist to provide data analysis, interpretation, and recommendations to business leaders based on identified trends.
Collaborate closely with demand generation specialists to develop new campaigns and/or refinements during existing initiatives
Bachelors degree required
1-3 years of related experience in sales data analysis
Advanced technical skills including Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) and CRM
Must be able to pull data from various systems for analysis
Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines and deliver quality results
Strong analytical skills
Keeps up to date with emerging trends and industry best practices in current internal/external environment and leverages data to anticipate customer needs;
Strong reporting skills
Strong Consultation Skills
High Proficiency in Reporting tools (including MS Office Suite)
Expertise in business analysis and project management preferred
