This position is supported by a sales team that supplies Account Managers with clients. Effective account managers develop quality relationships with their book of clients and encourage repeat sales through fast response rates and quality customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage your own book of business by coordinating shipping needs and developing client relationships.

• Work with shippers to provide transportation for various goods across the country.

• Provide tracking and thorough communication on all shipments.

• Negotiate and contract pricing agreements with carriers.

• Plan and coordinate shipment schedules.

Skills

• Must be an independent problem solver and quick thinker.

• Must be a self-motivated, hardworking, and driven individual with an entrepreneurial mindset.

• Must be able to operate efficiently under pressure.

• Must have good communication and customer service skills.

• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.

• Must be able to multitask efficiently with email, software, and multiple monitors.

• No experience in logistics necessary. Must be coachable and eager to learn.
