Join us in shaping the future of healthcare!Benefits: * Health, dental, vision insurance * Tuition reimbursement up to $6000/year * Contribution and match on Retirement Plan * Five weeks paid time off * Access to Success Coaches * Free parkingResponsibilities:* Plans, coordinates, evaluates, and provides comprehensive rehabilitative services in accordance with standards of the APTA and the Physical Therapy Practice Act, or AOTA and the Occupational Therapy Practice Act, NYS NYS DOH, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Systems. * Primary responsibility is to provide clinical supervision and general day to day supervision of physical therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapist assistants, and rehabilitation support stuff. * The site manager is a recognized expert and source of knowledge in acute care rehabilitation and is responsible for all clinical aspects of the inpatient setting as well as serving as the immediate supervisor of the therapy staff assigned to that area. * Be administratively proficient with current knowledge of therapy regulations and practice issues as well as inpatient PT/OT operations and management. * Demonstrates skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives as they relate to policies, goal and objectives, and costs. * Demonstrates the ability to create an atmosphere which encourages motivation, innovation, and high performance. * Has the ability to delegate responsibility and authority to the staff. * The site manager is responsible for working with the Director of Rehabilitation Services and Rehabilitation Leadership in the development and maintenance of the assigned facility's goals, objectives, policies, and procedures. * Oversees direct supervision of physical therapy/occupational therapy staff including performing performance reviews in a timely basis. Assist Director with ensuring that all safety [ECO] activities are up-to-date and in accordance with Department of Health and JCAHO. * All activities actively support the mission, goals, and objectives of Thompson Health.Job Specific Competencies: * Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate and treat referred patients within his/her scope of practice. * Must be competent in the clinical application of therapeutic modalities within the scope of his/her licensure. * Demonstrates the ability to work independently and exhibit flexibility in decision making and prioritizing assignments. * Demonstrate leadership/supervisory ability to develop & maintain collaborative working relationships with coordinators, associates, clerical staff, and medical staff. * Exhibit leadership skills through management of finances, human resource management, and strategic planning for their assigned area. * Assists the Director with all Productivity and volume enhancing initiatives in their assigned area. * Deploys his/her assigned staff in accordance with volume and patient need. * Directly supervises clinical staff as assigned and facilitates optimal performance through coaching, role modeling and other developmental activities. * Completes all performance evaluations within a 30-day window of due date. * Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public * Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing training practices. * Mature, responsible, accountable, energetic and creative individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrates ability to deal with others in a professional, effective and courteous manner. * Consistently displays a high standard of medical and business ethics. * Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information, including but not limited to patients, operations and the Health System. * Lives the CARES values at all times.Other Key Performance Factors:*
