Responsibilities

Provides ancillary/technical assistance to the Pharmacist in multiple available pharmacy settings to support medication distribution to patients. Responsibilities include, post and fill medication orders, distributes and delivers medications, answers phones under direction of a Pharmacist.

Prepares and fills IV additive solution orders according to prescribed procedures. Assists in inventory control including ordering, stock rotation, and return of outdated medications.

Qualifications

Education Background Required

• High School Diploma or GED

Licensure Required

• State of California Pharmacy Technician License.
